When I was younger I used to think I would have it all figured out by the time I was the age I am now. Then you grow up and that imaginary age keeps on delaying. Then comes an age when you realize that your parents, the people that you grew up listening to, are not perfect, that they always did what they could with what they had or what they knew. They are just you in a couple more years. Sometimes we are hard on people around us because we expect them to have it all figured out, and we blame them for not living up to our expectations of how things should be. And then we do the same on us. It’s important to remind ourselves that NO ONE, EVER, HAS IT ALL FIGURED OUT. We are all just human beings constantly figuring stuff out… so don’t be so hard on yourself.
